What does the SERVICE light mean on the FCD3 and SC01 carbon monoxide alarm units?
To troubleshoot the FCD3 and SC01 units, first, check the user's manual to make sure the correct 9-volt battery is installed. If that's OK, then the problem is with the sensor and the detector will have to be replaced.
